EXAM DAY

Well my exam is over! I don't think I can officially say I've finished teaching my first course ever because I still have to mark it and do report cards, but I have kind of finished teaching my first real course ever! Half of the kids stayed for the whole 2.5 hours; some finished in an hour. I had no idea how long they'd stay! I think they all had time to finish though which is good. One girl brought a full on pencil sharpener with her. Like the kind that is usually screwed to a desk or a wall. It cracked me up every time she sharpened her pencil!

Other than that the exam was not very exciting. Just after it started I decided I should count the kids to make sure they were all there. 4 were missing. I couldn't even figure out who because all 3 sections were mixed in with each other and I didn't have any class lists. They all ended up coming in a few minutes late; I was pissed. One kid came in at 2:01 and I was like you're late, they said no, it's only 2 now. I said no, it's past two and you don't come AT the time the exam starts! Oh well, at least they got there!

I could have probably done a fair bit of marking tonight but I didn't. Hopefully I'll get lots and lots done tomorrow! Report cards have to go home next week so I need to hurry up!
